„Please Do Not Touch The Ceiling” re-frames the theme of past ideologies and their traumatic repression as architectural forms. In the video „Bužňa” I deal conceptually with the site of House of Arts in Košice – a former synagogue converted under Communism. The uncovering of the original synagogue cupola finds similar architectural residues in the recently reconstructed gallery ceiling, where I exhibited this work. The accompanying piece „24 Hours” is a listing of every second in eighteen hours, where time is broken down to its basic components through intensive physical activity.
